Michael Tootill (born November 10, 1967 ) is a retired South African squash player .

Career

Michael Tootill played on the PSA World Tour from the early 1990s to the early 2000s . His highest ranking in the world rankings he reached with position 262 in September 1997. In 1992 he was the only time in the main draw of the World Cup , in which he lost his opening game against Tristan Nancarrow . With the South African national team he took part in world championships in 1995 , 1997 , 2001 and 2005 . He was also part of the South African squad at the World Championships in doubles and mixed in 1997 and 2004 . In 1997 he did not get beyond the group stage of doubles as well as in 2004 in doubles and mixed . In 1993 he was South African runner-up behind Craig van der Wath .
