Squash World Championships in doubles and mixed 1997
The 1st Squash World Championships in doubles and mixed (officially: WSF World Doubles Squash Championships ) for men and women took place from December 11th to 14th, 1997 in Hong Kong . As part of the world championships, competitions in men's doubles, ladies doubles and mixed were played. They were organized by the Hong Kong Squash Association and the World Association .
In the men's race, Chris Walker and Mark Cairns from England prevailed, and in the women's race, Leilani Joyce and Philippa Beams from New Zealand were successful. The mixed competition won the Australians Liz Irving and Dan Jenson .
