Tristan Nancarrow is a retired Australian squash player .

Career

Tristan Nancarrow was active as a squash player between 1986 and 1994 and in January 1993 he reached fifth place, his highest ranking in the world rankings.

With the Australian national team he took in 1993 at the World Cup in part. The team reached the final against Pakistan , but Nancarrow was not used. Australia lost the game 3-0. From 1986 to 1993 he was seven times in the main field of the individual world championships. In 1990 he achieved his best result in the semi-finals. There he was eliminated in three sets against Chris Dittmar . In 1993 he qualified the only time for the PSA Super Series Finals . In the first round he lost to Jansher Khan without winning a set. In 1984 he won the Australian Open .

Nancarrow was noticed several times for his temperamental behavior. On April 1, 1993, he was banned from the PSA Tour for four months, beginning April 9, 1993, due to multiple discipline violations.

His stepfather Cam Nancarrow was also a squash player and won the world championship four times with the Australian national team.
