Mark Maclean (born November 8, 1963 ) is a retired Scottish squash player .

Career

Mark Maclean was active as a squash player in the 1980s and 1990s and reached eighth place in the world rankings in July 1991. With the Scottish national team he took part in the World Cup in 1983 , 1985 , 1987 and 1989 . At the European Championships he was with the national team in 1992 against Finland European champion. Between 1985 and 1993 Maclean was six times in the main draw of the individual world championship. In 1989 he reached the quarterfinals, in which he was defeated by Jahangir Khan , his best result. In 1986 he was in the final of the British Championships, which he lost to Bryan Beeson .
