Alfredo Manuel Ávila Vergara (born June 17, 1991 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican squash player .

Career

Alfredo Ávila began his professional career in the 2008 season and has so far won twelve titles on the PSA World Tour . His greatest success to date was when he won the title in Bogotá in 2015 , when he won a tournament in the PSA 50 category as a qualifier . He achieved his highest ranking in the world rankings with position 35 in January 2016. At Pan American Championships he won the title with the team in 2014 and 2017. In the same year he lost the final in the singles, in 2013 the final in the doubles competition. In 2017 he was in the mixed finals. A year later, he won the title in doubles with César Salazar . 2019 he secured at the Pan American Games in Lima in mixed silver and won the team bronze medal.
