100 monkeys
100 Monkeys was an American funk rock band that formed in 2008 in Los Angeles , California. The band members were Ben Graupner, Ben Johnson, Jackson Rathbone, Jerad Anderson and Lawrence Abrams. The band split up in summer 2012, but the former members are still very good friends. While three of you take a musical break, Ben Graupner and Ben Johnson make music with two new members under the name Pink Fuzzy Animals .
history
The band formed in 2008 in Los Angeles, California. The first single Ugly Girl was released in July 2009, along with the songs Smoke and Wasteland Too . They then released the completely improvised album Monster de Lux . Her first studio album, Grape , was released that same year . In 2010 the band toured across the United States on a 100 City Tour , which greatly increased their audience. In July 2010 the album Live and Kickin (Part one) was released and in November 2010 the second part Live and Kickin (Part too) was released on DVD. In April 2011 they published their book Every Monkey Dookies , which was written by themselves (with pictures, painted by Jerad Anderson). On June 28, 2011, their new album Liquid Zoo was released .
From the end of June 2011 to the end of December 2011, the 100 Monkeys toured first through the United States and then through Europe. Among other things, they gave four concerts in Germany. Currently the band is separated for various reasons.
Members
Ben Graupner was born on February 7th in Dallas, Texas. He played trumpet, guitar, drums, keyboard, bass and sang for the band.
Jackson Rathbone was born on December 14, 1984 in Singapore City, Singapore. He is a successful actor and made famous through the films in the Twilight Saga in the role of Jasper Hale. He played guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, mandolin, trumpet, harmonica and sang.
Jerad Anderson was born on June 4, 1981 in San Diego, California. He is a budding actor. He played guitar and was the band's backing vocalist.
Ben Johnson was born on May 4, 1984 in Mt. Carroll, Illinois. He played bass, guitar, drums, keyboards and sang for the band.
Lawrence "Uncle Larry" Abrams was born on July 5, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois. He played the flute, bongos, keyboard and sang occasionally.
