Under the address 22 Livery Street in the Scottish town of Bathgate in the Council Area West Lothian is a cottage . In 1989 the structure was included in the Scottish Monument Lists in Monument Category C.

description

The cottage is on Livery Street in central Bathgate diagonally across from the Roman Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception . Architectural features suggest that it was built in the early to mid-19th century. Part of the masonry dates at least from the 18th century. The simple one-story building is four axes wide, with the wooden entrance door on the second axis from the right. The low-lying windows framed by Faschen are simply glazed. On the back there is an elongated wing made up of individual buildings. The lowest is directly adjacent to the cottage. It is a stable probably dating from the 18th century. The other buildings date from the following century and, in contrast to the slate-roofed cottage, are covered with fired bricks. The masonry consists of quarry stone and is limed.
