Catella Swedish Open 2002

The Catella Swedish Open 2002 took place from January 10th to 13th, 2002 in Linköping , Sweden . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2001/02 and was held as a professional tournament for the first time. It was endowed with $ 17,000.

In the final, the top seeded Ong Beng Hee and Olli Tuominen met . Beng Hee won the game with 15:10, 11:15, 15:12, 12:15 and 15: 8.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Daniel Forslund a spot in the main draw.
