UCS Swedish Open 2017

The UCS Swedish Open 2017 took place from February 2nd to 5th, 2017 in Linköping , Sweden . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2016/17 and belonged to the PSA 70 category .

Last year's winner was Karim Abdel Gawad , who again reached the final. In this he was defeated by Grégory Gaultier with 11: 7, 3:11, 0:11 and 8:11.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. Per Wildcard received Rasmus Hult a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 70,000.
