Case Swedish Open 2014

The Case Swedish Open 2014 took place from February 6-9, 2014 in Linköping , Sweden . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2013/14 and belonged to the International 70 category .

The defending champion was Grégory Gaultier , who reached the semi-finals that year. In the final, Nick Matthew defeated his opponent Ramy Ashour with 11:13, 11: 6, 11: 8, 6:11 and 11: 4.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. Per Wildcard received Rasmus Hult a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 70,000.
