Nick Taylor (born December 24, 1971 in Oldham ) is a former English squash player and current coach.

Career

Nick Taylor began his career in 1988 and joined the PSA World Tour in 1992 . He won his first title in Luxembourg in 1993 . Between 1996 and 2001 he completed a total of nine games for the English national team . In 1997 and 2001 he became European champion with her . In 1998 and 2002 he was part of the English squad at the Commonwealth Games . He reached his highest place in the world rankings in January 2001 with rank 14. The best result at world championships he achieved in 2003 when he made it to the second round. In 1995 and 2001 he reached the final of the British Championships. Third place was his best national placement. In April 2004 he ended his career, in the course of which he won a total of ten titles on the World Tour, and took up his job as a squash coach.

In addition to his own training academy in Manchester , he was also part of the coaching team of the English Squash Association. Since July 2008 he has been the head coach on Jersey . With the Jerseys team, he has already taken part in several European championships as a player-coach , as well as in the Commonwealth Games. At the Island Games he has already won several medals for Jersey. He also won several titles at the Channel Islands championships.

Nick Taylor is married to Sarah Taylor. The couple have a son and a daughter.
