Hits à Gogo

Hits à Gogo was a music show that from 1967 to 1973 by Swiss television (SF) in cooperation with the North German Radio was produced (NDR). It was the first "beat broadcast" on the Swiss channel, "a musical platform for hits, stars, new discoveries, high-flyers and also a springboard for many Swiss groups and performers."

Quite unusual for a pop music show , Hits à Gogo was broadcast in the evening program. Behind the live performing artists, psychedelic patterns were created through light effects . There were gogo girls and video clips were shown as early as 1968 . Elton John and David Bowie made their first television appearances on the show.

Hits à Gogo moderators included Suzanne Doucet , Hardy Hepp , Graham Bonney and Sigi Harreis .
