23rd Royal Bavarian Infantry Brigade

The 23rd Royal Bavarian Infantry Brigade was a large unit of the Bavarian Army .

The brigade was set up on February 15, 1917 as a war formation. It was subordinate to the 15th Royal Bavarian Division , the formation of which was completed on March 7, 1917.

On February 8, 1917, Major General Otto Ritter von Huebner (February 9, 1862 to June 22, 1935) was commissioned to lead the brigade. He led them until the end of the First World War .
