2A (resistor network)

2A was an amalgamation of various resistance groups against the German occupation of Norway during the Second World War . It existed from 1941 to 1943.

The 2A system was a network of anti-Nazi groups around Oslo . The association also went beyond the various political directions, as some members had a conservative, others a communist background. Well-known members were Karl Armin Fürst, Øyvind Øwre, Trygve Høgberg, Sverre Ellingsen, Rolf Tjersland, Jan Skappel, Gunnar Sønsteby , Asbjørn Bryhn and Alvhild Hovland.
