30 ° Grad is a song by the German rapper MC Fitti . It was released as a single on July 27, 2012 .

MC Fitti published a music video for the song on April 27, 2012 on the video platform YouTube . The video shows excerpts from the television series Miami Vice , with the heads of the protagonists partially replaced by the heads of MC Fitti. The song itself is kept simple and consists of a catchy melody, synthesizer sounds and simple rhymes. The song was produced by Udo Zwackel .

The song became a summer hit on YouTube, and was viewed over 6.5 million times (as of December 2017). The Berlin independent label Styleheads became aware of the artist and signed him. The accompanying single was released in MP3 format on Amazon and iTunes on July 27, 2012 and stayed at number 99 in the German charts for a week .

The song also appeared on MC Fitti's debut album #Geilon .

Trivia

The naming of the song is actually incorrect, as the " ° " symbol stands for degrees. Properly pronounced the name would therefore be “30 degrees degrees”.
