49 Games was a German developer of computer games based in Hamburg . The company specialized in winter sports computer games such as B. RTL specializes in ski jumping or alpine skiing .

history

The company was founded in 2004 by VCC Entertainment employees Peter Cukierski, Florian Knappe, Thomas Mahlke, Dierk Ohlerich and Jan-Hendrik Ohl. In September 2011 the company was taken over by Bigpoint and Bigpoint announced that browser games from 49Games will follow.
