The 4 Strings are a Dutch trance project by Carlo Resoort and Jan de Vos.

Career

Carlo Resoort has been active since the second half of the 1990s and had a big hit in 1997 with the project Carlos with Piet Bervoets and the title The Silmarillia . From 2000 he joined forces with Jan de Vos for the 4 Strings project . Vanessa van Hemert was also part of the project for a while as a permanent playback singer for music videos and TV appearances, while the real vocals were provided by the German studio singer Susanne Teutenberg.

With one of their first joint releases, the two DJs also had their first hit: Day Time even made it into the official UK charts. Two years later the 4 strings with Into the Night and the version with vocals as (Take Me Away) Into the Night had their greatest success, which found itself in the charts across Europe and even entered the US dance charts. In the following years they had great hits again and again, which hit the charts especially in Great Britain and the Netherlands.

Resoort and de Vos also publish jointly as Blue Finger and D'Tech. Resoort also releases solo under various names and also had a solo chart hit as Madelyne with Beautiful Child .

In 2009, a remix of the single Take Me Away by Dave Darell was again placed in several European music charts.
