The three-story residential and commercial building is located in the center of Dunbar. It's right on the High Street , the city's main drag , across from the Cossars Wynd confluence . The east-facing front is plastered and four axes wide. In the middle, between the shop windows, a segment arched passage with an iron gate leads to the inner courtyard and provides access to the buildings at the rear. Twelve-part lattice windows are installed on the upper floors . A cross gable rises in the middle with a chimney at the gable end. With the exception of two ox eyes , it is undecorated.

At the back of the building there is a stair tower with a spiral staircase. Small windows are installed there as light inlets. An engraved stone on a door shows the year of construction. The building closes with a slate roof. Two dormer windows point to the rear . At the rear there are two outbuildings. They are single story and close with tiled roofs.
