A residential and commercial building is located at 6-8 Newark Street in the Scottish city ​​of Port Glasgow in Inverclyde . In 1979 the structure was included in the Scottish List of Monuments in Category B.

The building is on Newark Street off the A761 and A8 in the center of Port Glasgow. It was built in the 1770s, making it one of the older houses in the city. On the north-facing, symmetrically constructed front of the two-story building, there are two entrance doors that are flanked by shop windows. Four windows are arranged on the first floor. Another two windows are built into the gable . The masonry consists of roughly hewn quarry stone . The facades are plastered and partially decorated with stucco work . A shop is set up on the ground floor.
