The Aïr Festival ( French : Festival de l'Aïr ) is an annual folklore event in the Aïr Mountains in Niger .

The three-day festival was founded on the initiative of the Nigerien Ministry of Tourism. The first six editions took place from 2001 to 2006 every year at the end of December in Iferouane . From 2007 the event was suspended due to the poor security situation due to the Tuareg rebellion. In January 2010, the seventh edition of the festival took place in the village of Agarouss, part of the municipality of Tchirozérine .

The Aïr Festival includes traditional music, dance and poetry performances, camel races and several beauty pageants. It is also an important annual gathering of Tuareg leaders.
