The AAE Glacier is a glacier in the East Antarctic Georg V Land . It is located northeast of the Mertz Glacier .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia called it on 12 August 2010 after the acronym for A ustralasiatische A ntarktis- E Xpedition (1911-1914) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson , who had operated on, among other things in the area.
