The AAI Corporation was a company for the provision of (mostly aeronautical) services for the US armed forces . This includes the implementation of test series, simulations, maintenance work and transport tasks.
history
Aircraft Armaments Inc. was founded in 1950 and renamed AAI Corporation in the late 1950s .
AAI has been involved in the military drone market since 1985 . The first development was the AAI RQ-2 Pioneer, which was developed in collaboration with Israel Aircraft Industries . The current model is called AAI RQ-7 Shadow.
In 2007 the company was taken over by Textron and AAI Corporation was integrated into Textron Systems .
