The company developed on an idea Chens based, low-cost business aircraft in duck airplane design and tail engine, called Jetcruizer series , with the aircraft AASI Jetcruzer 450 and 500 P . There were also plans for a small jet. Despite the long development time, no series production could be started.

In 2002 AASI took over the ailing Mooney company . This group, now renamed Mooney Aerospace Group Ltd (MASG), decided, however, to pursue Mooney's more conventional business jet line. As a result, the construction and the systems for the Jetcruizer series were sold to Innova Aircraft in February 2004 . In May 2004 MASG sold the remaining shares to Allen Holding Finance. Despite everything, the company finally had to cease operations on June 10, 2004.
