The Agrupación Deportiva Cerro de Reyes Badajoz Atlético was a Spanish football club from Badajoz in the autonomous community of Extremadura . The club was founded in 1980 and played its home games in the Estadio José Pache , which offers space for 3500 spectators.
history
The club was officially founded on January 6, 1980 and played in the regional leagues of Extremadura until the 1998/99 season. Then the club played in the fourth division, the Tercera División , where you could complete your group as champions for the first time in 2002/03, but failed in the play-offs for promotion. In the following years, the club was able to earn a top position again and again and made it to the Segunda División B for the first time in the 2006/07 season , but where the direct relegation took place. After two more seasons in the Tercera División and the renewed championship in 2009, the promotion to the third division succeeded again. In the 2010/11 season, the team did not go to their games twice in a row, so they were excluded from the championship and were the first to be relegated. The successor club was Sporting Club Cerro de Reyes .
