The AEA Maverick was a sport aircraft from the Australian manufacturer Aero Engineers Australia .

History and construction

The Maverick is a single-seat, fully aerobatic (+6 to −3 g ) low-wing aircraft with a conventional tail unit. It has a non-retractable tail wheel landing gear and a one-piece cockpit canopy that can be opened to the side. Made largely of composite materials, it was powered by a 4-cylinder boxer engine Continental O-200A . Only one aircraft was produced.
