The AMX-13 105 AUTOMOTEUR is a French self-propelled gun with a 105 mm howitzer based on the AMX-13 light tank .

history

The first prototype was completed in 1949. Then experimentation was carried out with this prototype until 1955 and the carriage was then mass-produced. It was the first French self-propelled gun to be mass-produced. The Swiss Army procured four test vehicles in 1960. After the trial, the Swiss Army decided not to purchase it. One of these test vehicles is exhibited today in the Swiss Military Museum in Full .
