The ASV Hollfeld is a sports club from the city of Hollfeld (Upper Franconia). Originally founded as a gymnastics club, it now has additional departments for football, table tennis, gymnastics, bowling, Nordic walking and cycling. It has about 610 members (as of June 2012).
history
The club was founded in the summer of 1900 as a gymnastics club. After setting up a football department, it was given its current name in 1929.
From 2005 to 2008, the club achieved four consecutive promotions from the district class to the Landesliga Nord . In the 2011/12 season he rose to fourth in the table thanks to the extended promotion rights as part of the division reform of the Bavarian Football Association after relegation to the Bayernliga Nord . From this he had to relegate again in 2013/14 as bottom of the table. In the following season, as the bottom of the table in the regional league, you were passed straight through to the district league. There, ASV Hollfeld withdrew its first team before the start of the season because several players had left the club and no more than five district league players were available to him. As a result, ASV Hollfeld started with only one team in the B-Class (the original second team) in the 2015/16 season, the squad of which is mainly composed of its own senior and junior players. In 2016, the championship and promotion to the A-Class Bayreuth / Kulmbach immediately succeeded in this.
