The tramcars series 85-92 of STEL were a number of tram vehicles on the Milan intercity trams were used.

They were delivered by the Reggiane in 1928 and were nicknamed " Reggio Emilia " because of their origin . They had a wooden structure, comparable to those of the 44-49 series that were built a few years earlier.

The " Reggio Emilia " had a multi-purpose system that enabled them to work with 600 V direct current (traditional tram lines) as well as the 1200 V direct current system of the Adda lines.

The multi-purpose wagons were used on the Milano – Vaprio and Milano – Vimercate lines.
