John Mulhern
John Francis Mulhern (born July 18, 1927 in Boston , Massachusetts , † September 19, 2007 there ) was an American ice hockey player .
Career
John Mulhern attended Boston College , for whose ice hockey team he played parallel to his studies. Following the 1952 Winter Olympics, he studied for four years at Suffolk University Law School . He continued his professional career in the Boston City Council.
International
For the United States , Mulhern took part in the 1952 Winter Olympics in Oslo , where he and his team won the silver medal. He himself scored five goals in eight games over the course of the tournament.
