A Tua Cara Não Me É Estranha ( German: Your face is not alien to me ) is a music show on the Portuguese television channel TVI . Since January 22, 2012, it has been broadcast live every Sunday on the evening program of the station. The show is produced by Endemol , moderators are Cristina Ferreira and Manuel Luís Goucha .
The show is designed as a music competition. Eight celebrities imitate well-known national and international singers with their greatest hits. A jury, consisting of Luís Jardim , Alexandra Lencastre , José Carlos Pereira and António Sala , will evaluate the performance and award points. In addition, viewers of the program have the opportunity to give their opinion via televoting .
First season
On the first season took Sónia Brazão , Paulo Vintém , Daniela Pimenta , Mico da Câmara Pereira , Maria João Abreu , João Paulo Rodrigues , Romana and Toy in part as a singer. For the final broadcast on April 1, 2012, Pimenta, Rodrigues, Romana and Toy qualified. João Paulo Rodrigues won the competition.
When it was first broadcast on January 22, 2012, the show achieved a market share of 59.9% and 1.2 million viewers. Over the eleven weeks, an average of 1.998 million viewers saw the program.
Second season
The second season started on April 8, 2012. Participating artists are Merche Romero , FF , Dora , Sílvia Rizzo , Manuel Melo , Luciana Abreu , José Raposo and Micaela .
