Televisão Independente (usually just called TVI ) is a Portuguese television broadcaster. It is broadcast terrestrially , by cable and by satellite in Portugal . The station was founded on February 20, 1993 and is the second commercial broadcaster in Portugal. The current owner of the Portuguese market leader is 100% Media Capital , in which the Spanish Grupo Prisa holds 94% after the sale of the shares in RTL Group . A Tua Cara Não Me É Estranha has been a successful music show for the station since 2012.
