Manuel Luís Goucha
Manuel Luís Goucha (born December 25, 1954 in Lisbon , Portugal ) is a Portuguese television presenter.
Born in Lisbon, he spent his childhood and youth in Coimbra and later came back to Lisbon. He worked as a theater actor for around ten years when he joined the Portuguese state television network RTP in 1984 , where he made his first appearances by hosting cookery programs for children.
He made his most famous presentations between 1995 and 2002 with the program "Praça da Alegria", a large, nationwide television and entertainment show. In 2002 he switched to TVI , where he is still active today.
Goucha is also known as the author of numerous cookbooks on Portuguese cuisine. He has been with his partner since 1990.
