The Aass Bryggeri (German Aass Brewery ) is the oldest still existing and largest brewery in Norway.

The brewery was founded in Drammen in 1834 on the banks of the Drammen River . The brewery location has not changed since then. The brewery got its name when it was bought by Poul Lauritz Aass (1836–1904) in 1860. The company is still owned by the Aass family more than 150 years later. The director in the fifth generation is Christian Aug. K. Aass (as of 2018). Mineral water production began in 1869. Every year around 10 million liters of beer and around 18 million liters of non-alcoholic beverages are produced, such as the Solo orange lemonade . The brewery has around 150 employees worldwide (data refer to 2007). The annual turnover in 2005 was 511,465,000 Norwegian kroner .

The brewery declares that it will adhere to the purity law of 1516.

The world's largest Ølhøne , a traditional Norwegian drinking vessel in the shape of a hen, is owned by the brewery. It holds 603 liters, weighs 234.7 kilograms, is 2.98 meters long, 1.25 meters wide and 1.8 meters high. The record is registered with the Guinness Book of Records .
