Abadie Rocher sign

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Abadie Rocher sign (also incorrectly: Abadie sign ) is a lack of pressure insensitivity of the Achilles tendon , named after the French neurologist Joseph Louis Irenée Jean Abadie (1873-1934) and the French doctor Rocher, at least since 1905 , which can occur in syphilis . This is due to the disturbance of depth sensitivity that exists in the tabes dorsalis .
