Abale (also Abiru and Ibaru ) was a queen of the Cushite 25th dynasty . She was a wife of Pije and mother of Taharqa , who reports on a stele from his 6th year that his mother visited him in Egypt after his coronation. Abale was probably a daughter or niece of Alul .
