The Abarth Punto Supersport is a sports car from Fiat . It is based on the platform of the small car Fiat Punto and is offered under the Abarth brand . The Abarth Punto Supersport was offered from the end of 2012 and the base price was 16,847 euros (gross). Production was discontinued at the end of 2013 due to the EURO 6 emissions standard .

Technology and equipment

The Abarth Punto Supersport is equipped with a 1.4-liter turbo gasoline engine (Multi Air) with Garret turbocharger. The engine with a capacity of 1368 cm³ develops 132 kW (180 hp) at 5750 rpm and the maximum torque is 270 Nm at 2500 rpm. The Punto Supersport has front-wheel drive and a six-speed manual transmission. The front wheels are individually suspended on MacPherson struts with wishbones and a stabilizer. The rear suspension is a twist beam axle with coil springs and hydraulic shock absorbers. There is also an electric power steering Dualdrive as well as an anti-lock braking system (ABS) and electronic stability control (ESP). The plastic interior of the vehicle is available in many different colors. The curb weight of the car is 1195 kg. The Abarth Punto EVO SuperSport was only available in 4 colors: black, white, red and the rare gray. In the last two months of production, 2 special models (RED Edition and Double-Black Edition) came onto the market.

The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 7.5 seconds and has a top speed of 216 km / h. Consumption is 6.1 L / 100 km. The emission class is EURO 5 , the CO 2 emissions are 142 g / km.
