Abdischo bar Aqre
Abdischo I. bar Aqre or Abdischo I. von Garmaqaja ( Syriac : ʰbhedhišoʰ * 10th century in Karka des Geddan in the Beth Garmai area, also called Garmakan , today Kirkuk area ) was Catholicos - Patriarch of the Apostolic Church of the East from April 22nd 963 through June 2, 986.
He entered the so-called "Upper Monastery" near Mosul and later became Bishop of Me'altaja under the Catholicos Patriarch Emmanuel. Abdischo I wrote sermon texts and festival literature in Syrian.
