Abdoun Bridge

The Abdoun Bridge ( Arabic جسر عبدون, DMG Ǧisr ʿAbdūn ) is a bridge in Amman. It is the only cable-stayed bridge in Jordan . It spans the Wadi Abdoun with a length of 417 m. The construction of the bridge began on December 14, 2002 and after exactly four years of construction the structure was opened on December 14, 2006. The bridge is part of a motorway project and connects North Amman with Zahran Street and a central roundabout called the 4th circle .
