Abel Vera

Abel Vera is a former Uruguayan road cyclist .

Vera was the overall winner of the Vuelta Ciclista del Uruguay in 1941 at the second edition of this event. Vera, who started for the Cicles Club Mercedes , relegated Elbio Barrios and Atilio François to second and third place in the overall standings. He also celebrated the day's victory on the second and third stages.
