Abell 2667 is a galaxy cluster in the Sculptor constellation . It is about 3.2 billion light years from Earth and about 2.4 million light years in extent. The name is derived from the entry in the Abell catalog .
On the image released by the Hubble Space Telescope , a cometary galaxy can be seen, which is racing through the galaxy cluster at around 3.5 million km / h. The gas in the cluster snatches stars from the galaxy , giving it a tail like a comet .
