Derived map

A derived map ( English derivative map is) in the cartography a map , the other by analyzing, modifying or combining map is created, that is not from an original survey. The purpose of such maps are special issues such as the prediction of specific dangers for risk analyzes , feasibility studies of an economic or other kind, etc. In spatial planning in particular , derived maps play a major role with information about geological conditions, such as karst , recorded landslides , seismic or volcanic activities and the like Role.
