Singing

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The two parts of the originally Italian canzone strophe are called Aufgesang and Abgesang . The Italian names are la fronte for singing and la sirma or la sirima for swan song. Situated Sang and farewell then also refer to the corresponding parts derived from the canzones verse forms, so the Meistersang verse and from the 19th century, the so-called bar form .

The Aufgesang consists of the tunnel and the counter- tunnel of the same construction . The two tunnels of the Aufgesang have the same metric shape , the Abgesang its own. In the swan song there are often rhyming verses ( orphans ). If the orphans in the verses of the song are connected by rhymes, one speaks of grains .
