Dependent civilian labor force

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The term Dependent Civil Employees (AZE) is a term from German macroeconomics . It refers to all employed persons , i.e. fully employed persons subject to social security contributions including trainees, marginally employed persons and civil servants (excluding soldiers) as well as all registered unemployed persons at the place of residence. The term is used, among other things, in unemployment statistics .

The word dependent refers here to people whose livelihood depends financially on other people, the employer or the state, in contrast to the self-employed , but without "helping" family members who are financially dependent but have their own group of performed work. These are only dependent on themselves or on the family (see civilian labor force ).
The fact that soldiers are excluded corresponds to the recommendations of the ILO's Labor Force Concept that only private households should be taken into account. This is not done in all countries. The statistics are independent of whether soldiers are considered to be economically active in any other context or not.

The opposite of those recorded at the place of residence are those at the place of work . The number of AZE also includes all out- commuters .
