Peel off tattoo
A temporary tattoo (including tattoo stickers, skin tattoo, temporary tattoo or skin adhesive tattoo ) is a special decal for the skin . This is a foil printed with a motif , which is impregnated with special adhesives and can be transferred to the skin using a transfer gel or water. The term "tattoo" refers to permanent tattoos . In contrast, a peel-off tattoo is a temporary decoration that can be removed again with simple means.
Since the foils remain on the skin for a longer period of time, they are subject to the provisions of the Food, Consumer Goods and Feed Code and must not give off any harmful substances if they come into contact with the skin.
history
In the 1960s, some chewing gum manufacturers included simple, mostly blue tattoo images with their products. Initially, there were mirror-inverted motifs that were pressed onto a moistened area of the skin and remained visible as an impression for a short time. Today's products are waterproof and sometimes soap-resistant films that can be removed with alcohol or oil .
