The deduction was a Leipzig measure in the weaving mill. In Leipzig , the length of the yarn was dependent on the type of yarn and was 2 yards for wool and 4 yards for linen (Dresdner) long (reel circumference).

  • 1 braid = 20 bundles = 400 threads = 1600 cubits
  • 1 strand = 40 bundles = 800 threads = 3200 cubits
  • 8 prints = 1 piece = 240 bundles = 4800 threads = 19,200 cubits = 6 strands = 12 braids
