Acapella is a very precocious German table potato variety from the breeder Norika .

properties

The variety is predominantly waxy (cooking type B), has a yellow skin and light yellow meat color. The tuber shape is round to oval, the tubers are large. The yield is high and the potato is susceptible to late blight . There is little discoloration after cooking.

Planting time is from mid-January to the end of May, harvest time from June to July. The planting depth is about 4 cm, the planting distance 35 cm. The variety is suitable for film cultivation, but it can also be grown in pots on the terrace and balcony .

Resistance to nematodes, Ro1,4. and against cancer, D1.
Very low susceptibility to iron stain and rhiz tree top roller.
Low susceptibility to leaf roll virus, YVirus, blackleg and scab.
Low to medium susceptibility to tuber rot.
Medium susceptibility to late blight.
