Access Industries is a US private equity firm founded by Russian-born English-American billionaire Leonard Blavatnik in 1986.

The Faena Group operates the Faena Hotel + Universe luxury hotel in Buenos Aires / Argentina In March 2007, STT Properties bought the luxury hotel Grand Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat for EUR 215 million. In addition, other hotels and office buildings in the United States, Latin America and Europe will belong to the Faena Group.

On March 6, 2008 it was announced that Access Industries is to take over the 18.56 percent stake in Vatas Holding from Robert Hersov and will thus become major owner of the airline Air Berlin . A stake increased to 18.94 percent was taken over on May 19, 2008 by AI Aviation Coöperatief UA, based in Amsterdam. AI Aviation Coöperatief UA is controlled by AI SMS LP and AI Aviation Holdings LLC, which in turn are subsidiaries of AI SMS LP. AI SMS LP is a subsidiary of Access Industries Holdings LLC, which is controlled by Access Industries Holdings LLC, which is a subsidiary of Access Industries, LLC, which in turn is owned by Blavatnik.

As announced on January 8, 2009, Blavatnik has sold its Air Berlin share of 18.94 percent.

In 2012, Access Industries invested 200 million in Rocket Internet . Other holdings are Glossybox and Westwing .
