Acciaccatura
The term Acciaccatura (it. "Crush, collapse") denotes
- In the 17th and 18th centuries, one on. keyboard instruments and on the Angélique executable ornament with immediately preceded or simultaneous short stop of the non-harmonic sub seconds to the main note;
- Especially in harpsichord music, a chord break with the addition of tones foreign to the harmony.
