Acha from Lydda
R. Acha from Lydda was a 4th generation Amora in Palestine (4th century AD), later in Tiberias , a student of Jose b. Hanina and Tanchum bar Chijja , teacher of Huna b. Abin.
He was a recognized Halachist , but enjoyed greater recognition in the field of the Aggada .
