Eight schools of Confucianism

Eight schools of Confucianism ( Chinese  儒家八派 , Pinyin rujia bāpài ) is a term used for the smaller Confucian schools during the Warring States Period is used. In the 50th chapter of the book Han Feizi ( Master Han Fei ) it says that since the death of Confucius the following schools have developed: School of Zizhang , School of Zisi , School of Yan Hui , School of Meng Ke , School of Qidiao , school of Zhongliang , school of Sun (= Xun Kuang ) and school of Yuezheng .

„自 孔子 之 死 也 , 有 子 張 之 儒 , 有 子思 之 儒 , 有 顏氏 之 儒 , 有 孟氏 之 之 儒 , 有 漆 雕 氏 之 之 儒 , 有 仲良氏 之 儒 , 有 孫氏 之 儒 , 有 樂 正氏 之 儒。 "

The most influential of these were those of Master Meng (Mencius) and Master Xun .
